Short 'a' Word Families

While enjoying this long weekend, I decided to share some more files with you. I've created these short "a" review cards to help my students practice their phonics skills. You can decide to use it as a whole class activity or assign it as an independent workshop activity. The cards could also be printed on card stock and laminate for reuse. For my struggling learners I assign them to work with a partner in finding, writing, and reading the words.
Let me know how other ways would you use in your classroom!
Happy Teaching! Happy Learning!

Math Freebies

Hello Everyone,

We have been in school for a week now. I've made these math worksheets to introduce the conception of addition. My students love them because they not only get to play with dice, draw, write, and solve their number sentences but afterward they get a chocolate chip cookie. Enjoy!

The implementation of the Common Core Standards, across the country,  give teachers new challenges in helping our learners how to best accomplish their learning goals. In a nutshell, SQ3R is a study guide for readers to best accomplish their reading assignments. To help my students I use this template!
